Proposal for the common stairwell of a mixed-use new building in Verona's city center. The common spaces, as well as the private apartments, are treated carefully to confers dignity to the whole complex. The space is conceived minimal and is materialised with the use of simple and blunt materials: exposed concrete and white plaster for the walls, stainless steel-brushed for the lift, smooth concrete for the floor, glass plates for the parapet of the stairs. The steps, the handrail and the flight of the stairs are highlighted by LED strips.
